This is an exceptional sounding banjo. Originally built for myself out of some cherry that I knew was very resonate and with some wide figure to the neck, it’s tone is very warm which is accentuated by the Dobson tone ring. I’m in the process of building myself a fancier banjo with some custom cast shoes and I hope it sounds as good as this one! Because I couldn’t be more pleased with how this one sounds and plays.
